Senior Building Surveyor
Location: LondonA global leader in Commercial Real Estate services is seeking a talented Senior Building Surveyor to join their dynamic and ambitious team. Core Responsibilities
As a Senior Building Surveyor, your role will include:- Due Diligence – Providing expert advice to clients on property acquisitions and investments.
- Construction Monitoring – Overseeing project delivery and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Contract Administration – Managing contracts for construction, refurbishment, and fit-out projects.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) – Developing and managing maintenance schedules.
- Dilapidations and Exit Strategy – Advising clients on lease-end obligations and strategic property exits.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:- A BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- MRICS accreditation, with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in a commercial Building Surveying environment.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Experience in managing and administering small to medium-sized construction, refurbishment, and fit-out projects (£0.5M–£10M).
- A client-focused, results-driven approach to project delivery.
