A medium-sized firm of Chartered Surveyors with two established offices in London is looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to strengthen its Residential Building Surveying team. You’ll be joining a focused group of five professional staff within a firm known for delivering high-quality advice to both private and public sector clients.This is a development-focused Building Surveying role, working primarily on new build residential schemes, often on behalf of housing associations, developers, and public sector clients. Typical projects include:

Multi-unit housing developments

Affordable and mixed-tenure schemes

Social housing regeneration projects

Contract administration and/or Employers Agent
The position offers a rare opportunity to take ownership of your workload within a growing and collaborative team. You will have the autonomy to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality technical advice throughout the development lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements

MRICS-qualified (An experienced surveyor with consultancy experience would also be considered)

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification Building Surveying experience

Experience in residential new build and/or social housing development

Confident in acting as a contract administrator and Employers Agent, and working with housing providers

Strong client-facing and communication skills
