A well established construction consultancy renowned for providing exceptional APC support and guidance, is looking for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team in London. As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting senior surveyors with a range of building surveying services. Your responsibilities will span both residential and commercial sectors, offering you exposure to various aspects of the profession and opportunities to develop a diverse skill set. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of building surveys, reports and schedules of condition.
- Supporting the delivery of dilapidation assessments and project management tasks.
- Preparing specifications and tender documents.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout projects.
- Providing assistance in contract administration and project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to budget.
- Regular site inspections and reporting back on progress, defects, and other key project elements.
Key Requirements:
- An RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying.
- Some experience in a building surveying role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- An eagerness to progress towards your APC with strong support from the company.
- A keen interest in building surveying across both commercial and residential sectors.
