- Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join a construction consultancy based in Central London. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with the potential for further career development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering building surveying projects from inception through to completion
- Providing expert advice on building defects, dilapidations, and refurbishment projects
- Undertaking technical due diligence and building surveys
- Client relationship management, including advising on technical issues and project scope
- Leading and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support
- Assisting with business development activities and fostering long-term client relationships
Key Requirements:
- MRICS qualified
- Proven experience in building surveying within the commercial, residential, or mixed-use sectors
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building pathology, dilapidations, and contract administration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving and client service
